What WatchRSPN collects when you watch or make an account, why we need it, and how to delete it.

Who we are
WatchRSPN (watchrspn.com) is a sports network for Roblox football: live games, full replays, scores, schedules, standings, news and Pick'Ems. It is run by RSPN Media Group LLC, 915 Middle River Drive, Suite 517, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304, which is responsible for your data under this policy. WatchRSPN is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Questions about this policy go to support@watchrspn.com.
Watching without an account
You can watch games, replays and news without an account. We don't show ads.
We use Google Analytics to understand how WatchRSPN is used: how many people visit, which pages, leagues and games they look at, how they found us, and roughly where they are and what device they use. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell new visitors from returning ones, and Google receives your IP address and browser details to do this. We also tell it what you do on the site, such as starting a video, following a team, setting a reminder, making a pick or voting in a poll, and whether you are signed in. We don't send it your account, your username, your name, your email or anything you type, and we don't use it for advertising. You can block it with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy.
Like any website, our servers receive your IP address and browser details with each request so they can answer it. To protect sign-in, sign-up and password resets from abuse, we keep a count of recent requests per IP address (rate limiting).
What we keep when you make an account
- Your email address, username and display name, and your time zone, which we use to show kickoff times and to send your weekly digest at the right hour.
- If you sign up with email: your password, stored only as a one-way hash that we can't read.
- If you continue with Discord: your Discord user ID, name, avatar and email address, and the sign-in tokens Discord gives us, which we store encrypted. We never post anything to Discord for you.
- The leagues, teams and broadcasters you follow, the games you set reminders for, and your poll votes.
- If you play Pick'Ems: your picks, your tiebreaker guesses, the groups you create or join, and the weeks you share. If a group's owner removes you, we keep a note of it so you can't rejoin with the same invite.
- Your notifications, your notification settings and, if you turn on browser notifications, the push subscription your browser gives us for each device.
- Your sessions. When you sign in, we store a session with the IP address and browser it came from. It keeps you signed in and helps us spot and limit abuse.
What other fans can see
Your email address is never shown to other fans, and your profile page is visible only to you. Pick'Ems is where your username appears:
- Each league's Pick'Ems leaderboard is public. It lists fans by username with their points and rank.
- In a Pick'Ems group, every member sees the other members' usernames and how they rank in the group.
- When you share a finished week, anyone with the link can see that week's picks and results under your username, along with its share image.
Your date of birth
WatchRSPN accounts are for people 13 and older. When you sign up with email, we ask for your date of birth to check this. The check happens when you submit the form, and the date is then discarded: we never store it.
If the date shows you are younger, no account is created and the form sends nothing to us. Your browser remembers the answer, so the sign-up form isn't shown again on that device. You can still watch everything on WatchRSPN without an account. If you continue with Discord, we don't ask, because Discord requires its users to be 13 or older.
We send email through Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES): verification links, password reset links, a confirmation when you delete your account and, if you choose them, notification emails (including Pick'Ems emails such as picks closing, week results and changes to your groups) and a weekly digest. Every notification email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can choose which emails you get in Settings. If an email to you bounces or is marked as spam, we stop sending notification email to that address until you turn it back on.
Browser notifications
Browser notifications are off until you turn them on. When you do, your browser gives us a subscription address run by its push service (for example Google, Mozilla or Apple), and we send notifications through that service. You can turn them off in Settings or in your browser at any time. We delete a subscription when you turn it off or when the push service tells us it has expired.
Cookies and local storage
Our own cookies exist only to sign you in and keep you signed in, including while you sign in with Discord. Scripts on the page can't read them. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to count visits, as described above. We don't use advertising cookies.
Your browser's local storage holds a few small flags that never leave your device, such as whether the sign-up form was refused on this device, your video player settings, which site banners you have closed and whether you have already seen an intro animation.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. There is no agreed standard for how websites should respond to them, so WatchRSPN doesn't change what it does when it receives one. Google, Twitch and YouTube may collect information about your activity over time and across different websites under their own policies. To stop Google Analytics, use the opt-out add-on or your browser's tracking protection described above.
Video from Twitch and YouTube
Live games and replays play in the official Twitch and YouTube players embedded in our pages, and live game pages also show the stream's Twitch or YouTube chat. Those players and chats are run by Twitch and YouTube, which may set their own cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies. We load YouTube videos from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode; YouTube's chat loads from youtube.com so you can chat with your YouTube account. Preview images load from Twitch and YouTube image servers.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. Amazon Web Services hosts WatchRSPN, stores its database and sends its email. Discord handles sign-in if you choose it. Google measures site traffic through Google Analytics. These providers process data only to provide those services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data until you delete your account. A session stops working after 7 days without a visit, or sooner when you sign out. Verification links expire after 24 hours and password reset links after an hour.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, under Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything attached to it: your profile, sign-in methods, sessions, follows, reminders, poll votes, Pick'Ems picks, guesses, group memberships and shared weeks, notifications, notification settings and push subscriptions. A Pick'Ems group you own passes to another member, or is deleted if nobody else is in it. We email you to confirm the deletion. For your security, you may need to sign in again first.
Your choices
- Change your username, display name and time zone in Settings.
- Choose which notifications you get, and how, in Settings.
- To change your email address, get a copy of your data or ask us to correct something, email support@watchrspn.com.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@watchrspn.com from your account's email address. We will answer within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for asking. We don't sell your data or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Children
If you believe a child under 13 has a WatchRSPN account, email support@watchrspn.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When the way we handle data changes, we will update this page, and we will tell account holders about significant changes by email or on the site.
