Community guidelines
WatchRSPN is built around games people play together. These rules keep it a good place to watch and compete.
Last updated
Where these apply
They apply everywhere you can show up on WatchRSPN: your username, the names of Pick'Ems groups you create, streams broadcast on WatchRSPN, and any community features we add later. They are part of our Terms of use.
Be respectful
Argue about the call, the team or the take, not the person. Players, broadcasters, staff and other fans are people, and many of them are young.
Not allowed
- Harassment or bullying: targeting, threatening or repeatedly bothering anyone.
- Hate: attacking or demeaning people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- Sexual content: none, of any kind. WatchRSPN is open to anyone 13 and older.
- Doxxing: sharing someone's personal information, such as their real name, address, phone number, school or photos, without their permission.
- Cheating and exploits: promoting, sharing or selling cheats, exploits, scripts or hacks for Roblox or for the games WatchRSPN covers.
- Impersonation: pretending to be another player, broadcaster, league, WatchRSPN staff or Roblox, or implying you are official when you are not.
- Spam and scams: unwanted promotion, fake giveaways, or links that try to take someone's account or money.
Usernames and group names
Usernames follow the same rules. A username can't contain slurs or sexual references, use someone else's identity or personal information, or promote cheats. We may reset a username that breaks these rules and ask you to choose another. Pick'Ems group names follow the same rules, and we may rename or remove a group that breaks them.
Broadcasters
If you stream games on WatchRSPN, everything above applies to your stream, its overlays and your guests. On top of that:
- Partnered leagues only: stream only games and events of leagues partnered with WatchRSPN. Ask us which leagues those are. You can stream other leagues on your own channels, but not on WatchRSPN, including as a replay or clip.
- League permission: if a league asks broadcasters to get its permission first, get it.
- 13 and older on air: everyone who hosts or commentates on your stream must be 13 or older.
- Keep it right for a young audience: many viewers are under 18. Keep language, jokes and everything on screen suitable for them.
- Sponsors: you can show your own sponsors, but say clearly when a mention is paid, as the law and the FTC require. No sponsors that aren't suitable for a young audience, such as gambling, betting, alcohol, tobacco, vaping or adult content. We decide whether a sponsor is suitable.
- Keep your access private: don't share your stream keys or logins. You are responsible for what's streamed with them, and you should tell us right away if they're lost or misused.
If a stream breaks these rules, we may remove it, give you a warning, or stop you from broadcasting on WatchRSPN. The Terms of use cover the rest of broadcasting on WatchRSPN: what we can do with your stream, and how to have it taken down.
What happens if you break the rules
Depending on how serious it is, we may reset your username, suspend your account for a while or delete it. Threats of violence, sexual content involving minors and doxxing can lead straight to deletion, and we report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires it.
Reporting
If you see something that breaks these rules, email support@watchrspn.com with the username or a link and a short description of what happened.
